Puppy Pool – Guess the due date/time!
Our 2009 Striker x Kadie puppies are ready to debut at any time. Right now Kadie is starting to getting a little more anxious and is starting to hop in and out of the whelping box, signs that she is getting ready and on target for her estimated due date.
Kadie was bred on 12/18 (day 27), 12/20 (day 29), and 12/22 (day 31). Her progesterone levels were 2.8 on 12/17, no reading on 12/18, 12.5 on 12/20, and 18.9 on 12/22. In general you estimate the due date as 63 days from ovulation. Based on progesterone numbers we would say ovulation was 12/18 which give a due date of 2/19.
So now that we are all on the same playing field, can you guess exactly when the very first puppy will emerge including the date and time (include am or pm)????
Also, guess the number of puppies that will be born. This will be the tie breaker if two or more people come within equal time of the first puppy’s birth. The ultrasound confirmed the pregnancy and saw about 6 puppies, but Tory’s ultrasound saw about 7 puppies and she had 12, so the final number is anyone’s guess.

Interesting coincidence: Max x Kadie were due on Nov. 19 and actual was Nov. 18 !!

The first puppy was born at 9:15am on 2/18.
